August Sew-in

I can't quite believe it is already August. With this hot weather it is a good time to be inside sewing. I hope you can join us to share our summer experiences and sew for a purpose. Our next sew-in for activity mats will be at the Singer Northwest Sewing Center on Saturday, August 22 at 1:00pm. Bring your sewing machine or serger, or help with assembly and handwork.  - Marcia

    1. Our mats are made by local volunteers and given away to local groups and individuals. Perhaps you can find someone who can make one for you in your local area.
Alzheimer's aids and fidget mats and aprons can be purchased on line from various sites. Do a google search.
      Best Wishes,

  3. I cant stop crying after seeing these amazing mats, I thought my mum was the only one who needed such a thing with her dementia. Such wonderful work you are doing! Melanie (Belfast Ireland) just wish I could buy some from you. x
